You ready to go crackers for some healthy crackers?

Its an old family recipe of mine &;

These crackers are:

1) so tasty

2) super healthy

3) so easy

4) quite cheap to make

5) will totally give you both housewife (or home-man?) points AND several adult points.

Multi-Seed Crackers

  • 2 dl (almost a cup) seeds and kernels (I used linseeds, chia seeds and pumpkin seeds)

  • 2 dl (almost a cup) flour of your liking (I used quinoa)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 dl (3,5 US tablespoons) olive oil

  • 2,5 dl (1 cup) boiling water

  • Big flaked salt, to sprinkle on top

How to make it;

  • Put the oven on 150°C (302°F).

  • Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

  • Add oil and mix again.

  • Carefully add boiling water and mix well.

  • Place a baking sheet on a pan and add the seed mixture. Using your wet (this is a must otherwise it will be very sticky) hands or a wet rolling pin, roll out the seed-dough in a thin, even layer.

  • Sprinkle big flaked salt on top and place in the oven for 70 min.

  • Let it cool completely before breaking it into pieces.
